Little Red Door Cancer Agency says it plans to start construction of a $2.1 million renovation of its Indianapolis building in October that it says will transform it into a vibrant community center for people fighting cancer. The agency says the New Hope Project will expand programming and make the building more accessible, Inside INdiana Business reports. The agency says the project should be completed by the summer of 2018.
The organization says the multi-million dollar effort includes a more accessible entrance for those with physical limitations, a dedicated fitness and yoga studio and space for program-specific cooking classes and community gatherings. The last time the building on N. Meridian St. was renovated was in 1995.
