Construction has started on the $40 million Bioscience Innovation Building at Purdue University Northwest’s campus in Hammond.
Berglund Construction/Powers & Sons Construction Company, Inc. are building the 68,000 sq. ft. structure to house the university’s College of Nursing and biological science department. Cannon Design is the architect.
The state budget committee approved in October the first new classroom building on the campus in 20 years.
