City of Plymouth breaks ground on $11.6M aquatic center

The City of Plymouth has broken ground on an $11.6-million aquatic center.

The Aquatic Center and Early Childhood Learning Center will feature swimming and diving facilities, as well will serves as home to the Growing Kids Learning Center, the Marshall County Community Foundation and the United Way of Marshall County, Inside Indiana Business reports.

The Aquatic Center will feature a 10-lane pool with two diving boards, two family changing rooms and seating for more than 350 people. The City of Plymouth, Plymouth Community School Corporation and Ancilla College teamed up to build this facility, according to a report from Max983 FM.

Construction is expected to begin imminently.
