Northwest Allen County Schools, a public school district that serves Lake, Eel River, and Perry Townships in Allen County in Indiana, has approved a $25.7-million construction bid for a new elementary school.
The district awarded the construction contract to Mosaic Building Solutions. The school is planned for a soybean field along Hathaway Road between Bethel Road and State Road 3, or Lima Road, The Journal Gazette reported.
A groundbreaking date isn’t yet set for the new school.
Business manager Bill Mallers told the publication that the district will work with architect to determine timing.
