AGC of Indiana looks to future at its annual conference

The Associated General Contractors of Indiana looked to the future at its annual conference Nov. 6 in downtown Indianapolis.

The gathering attracted more than 200 delegates, including specialty contractors and project engineers from major companies such as Pepper Construction and AECOMHunt, ENR Midwest reported.

Bruce Carter, AECOMHunt vice president and president of the AGC of Indiana board of directors, spoke about the recent growth of the Indiana chapter and how attendees could apply technology solutions in their companies and embrace the event’s  Future is Now theme.

Greg Napier of Accompany LLC, Greg Martz of GM Development and Jarod Klaas of the Indianapolis Airport Authority participated in a project-delivery roundtable moderated by Deb Kunce of Core Planning Strategies, ENR reported, also noting that Kokomo Mayor Greg Goodnight, Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers and Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski participated in a panel discussion on economic development in their cities and the importance of construction.
