Engineering and design firm HNTB Corp. plans to open a Noblesville office next month as part of a plan to significantly expand its local workforce over the next several years, The Indianapolis Business Journal reports.

“We’ve got a strategic plan that has us adding about 100 people over the next five years or so,” said Dave McDougall, HNTB vice-president and Indiana office leader. “It’s the first time that we’ve looked at opening multiple offices in the state.” (HNTB currently has about 150 employees in Indianapolis.)

Based in Kansas City, Missouri, HNTB has offices around the U.S. and has been doing business in Indiana since 1940. The firm offers engineering, design, construction management and other services, with a focus on transportation and infrastructure projects.
