Construction of the workforce housing in Huntingburg will begin next month, reports The Dubois County Herald.
Indianapolis-based Paragus Group will build a 56-unit housing development on the former Wagon Works site at 419 N. Washington St.
The Wagon Works project will cost $8 million and is expected to begin the construction during the first of July.
The project call for 28 studio, 24 one-bedroom and four two-bedroom apartments in three housing units on the site. In addition, an additional building will feature a community room.
The site will have bike racks, a fenced dog-walking area, a picnic area, a parking space for each apartment and on-site management.
