Pace Property plans to build 200-acre business park in Plainfield

Pace Property Holding is planning to build a 200-acre life-science business park west of the Indianapolis International Airport.

The Indianapolis Business Journal reports that the development would be located just east of Ronald Reagan Parkway and south of U.S. 40 in the town of Plainfield. It would include the current headquarters of Pace Air Freight.

First phase of construction includes the development of roads and is expected to begin in the next six to nine months. The company has not disclosed the total cost of the project and the completion date.

Pace Property is currently buying the land for the park. Recently, the Indianapolis Airport Authority approved the sale of 48 acres to the company for $2.2 million.
