Construction is underway on a $300-million urban mixed-use development called Bottleworks District in downtown Indianapolis, reports WFYI.
The first phase of the project is making progress despite a slowdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Bottleworks Hotel General Manger Amy Isbell.
Situated in the Mass Ave corridor, the Bottleworks District is a $300 million, 12-acre urban mixed-use development. It calls for reimagining the iconic Coca-Cola building in downtown Indianapolis.
The largest private development of its kind in Indiana, Bottleworks will feature the city’s first food hall, a hotel and unique residential options, as well as 180,000 sq. ft. of creative office space and 175,000 sq. ft. of prime retail space.
Construction of the Bottleworks Hotel, the Garage Food Hall, movie theater, and retail and office space are set for completion by the end of the year.
