The University of Saint Francis Crown Point broke ground for a $7 million building project.
Construction is slated to begin this fall and the facility is expected to be ready for use during the 2021-22 academic year.
The project is aimed to expand the Crown Point site and meet a demand for additional quality healthcare professionals.
“We are pleased to celebrate the groundbreaking for a new facility at the University of Saint Francis Crown Point,” USF President Rev. Dr. Eric Albert Zimmer stated. “Northwest Indiana has shown an ever-increasing demand for quality healthcare professionals and USF is excited about preparing our students to meet that need. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with Franciscan Alliance, an organization dedicated to excellence and caring in all that it does.”
