A new plastic coating company plans to invest $13.4 million to purchase, redevelop and equip a southwestern Indiana industrial building.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. (IEDC) says Armor Plastics will designate Madison site at 1200 Clifty Dr. as its corporate headquarters, repurposing the 28.5 acre site into a state-of-the-art manufacturing campus. The structure is on the site of the former Williamson Metal Works, which as been vacant since 2009.
The news comes following Riverton’s recent announcement to revitalize the historic Eagle Cotton Mill building in downtown Madison into a new 80-room boutique hotel with a conference center, restaurant, guest amenities and enhanced outdoor spaces with Ohio River views.
