Indianapolis-based Allison Transmission Inc. will provide details today (June 14) about a planned expansion. Governor Eric Holcomb and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett will be on hand for the economic development announcement and groundbreaking at the company’s headquarters, INSide Indiana Business reports.
Allison Transmission began construction on a $34.5 million Vehicle Environmental Test facility earlier this year, though a spokesperson for the company says today’s announcement will be separate from that project.
No further details were made available before the official announcement.
